Join a neighborhood group practicing Asahi outdoors on Saturdays! Asahi is a series of holistic mind-body exercises developed in Finland based on current medical guidelines for health. Movements and breathing are synchronized at a slow tempo to warm up, exercise, and relax the whole body. Suitable for people of all ages and physical conditions, Asahi strengthens the legs, develops balance, and increases metabolism. Whether you are an athlete seeking post-workout recovery, an individual looking for stress relief, or just want some exercise, Asahi is for you! Last Saturday, we practiced Asahi on a wonderful, spring morning. With the weather getting warmer, the class now begins at 9:00 am. This class is open to all and newbies are encouraged to join.
