VOLUNTEERING FOR BRADLEY HILLS VILLAGE

Do you want get to know your neighbors and help grow our village grow?

Volunteering is a wonderful way to contribute to BHV.

Many of our members are also volunteers who provide services; however it is not necessary to be a BHV member to volunteer.

You can choose how and when you want to volunteer by responding only to those requests that are of interest or fit your schedule.

Sign up by emailing info@bradleyhillsvillage.org to join our Service Volunteer Team and/or our BHV Volunteer Team. Descriptions and duties below.

Did you know? Full members of Bradley Hills Village are able to receive services from our Service Volunteer Team. To request a service, email info@bradleyhillsvillage.org and our coordinator will be in touch.

Service Volunteer Team

* Rides to/from Events

* Rides to/from Medical Appointments

* Friendly Check-ins (phone call or visit)

* Light Home maintenance tasks - lifting items, changing lightbulbs

* Technology Assistance - limited needs for TV remotes, computers, phones

* Medical note taking - accompany members to medical appointments and take notes

* Picking up prescriptions and groceries

BHV Volunteer Team

* Join a committee and help with programs, fundraising, finance, and membership

* Photograph events and "clean" images to they can be used on our website

* Help generate stories about our members or local happenings for our newsletter

* Host a village event in your home

* Solicit local merchants for donations

* Identify and recruit new members

* Speak on an area of your expertise for our Voices in the Village series

* Assist in website updates
