Ten years does not seem like much to those of us who can get discounts at movie theaters and for Hallmark cards. However, start-ups like the ambitious, feisty, determined non-profit neighborhood organization of Bradley Hills Village should, like cat years to human ones, multiply their non-profit years by five. Then everyone will be properly impressed. Most start-ups don’t survive longer than five years. BHV began with 35 members. Today we serve over 100 households and 160 members. We want, then, to honor Bradley Hills Village’s stamina and vision by launching a Tenth Anniversary Fund that will allow us to continue to have the resources to thrive and guarantee secure financial moorings.
