HomeEngaging with BHV

One of the key components of the Bradley Hills Village is social & educational activities to engage with neighbors. Bradley Hills Village is busy brainstorming new events. Below are descriptions of activities and groups arranged by our Social Activities Committee. To register for an event or learn more about a particular group, please email info@bradleyhillsvillage.org

Book Group

3rd Wednesday Night each Month at 7:30pm

Visit our Website page under the Book Club tab for all the latest details. To join us, email Caryn McTighe Musil.

Coffee & Conversation Group
Thursdays 2:30 - 3:30 pm

Conversations range from informal to speaker driven. We meet online and in homes. We have covered topics with a wide range of interests: traveling, writing memoirs, home safety, music, and mindfulness.

Environmental Group

1st Monday Night every other Month 7-8pm

The Environmental group is a lively bunch! We frequently have speakers and always have a discussion each session.  Come learn from our speakers and each other as we hear the latest on MoCo's Climate Action Plan, Native Plant Gardens, Composting, Solar Panels, and more!

Garden Group

2nd Tuesday each Month
The club arranges speakers via Zoom on relevant topics, shares ideas around gardening, and coordinates upkeep for our neighborhood green spaces.

Triangle Garden Work Crew
We meet on Saturday mornings on the corner of Roosevelt and Garfield Streets to maintain the community garden. We work alongside Huntington Terrace residence to beautify a shared space, and in doing so, we educate ourselves about native plants and pollinators and take joy in working with nature.

Voices in the Village

This is our neighborhood speaker series which features interesting speakers on a wide range of topics. Please volunteer as a speaker! Give a Village talk about your past travels, a hobby you are interested in, or about something from your career? We want you to share this with us!

Walking Group
2nd Wednesday each Month at 9:15am

Join us for exercise and conversation as we walk through the neighborhood.  We meet at 9:15am at the Triangle Garden. For more information or to join the group, email info@bradleyhillsvillage.org.
